What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
I hope not, I want to see Israel level Lebanon and Syria, then I want to see us level Iran. Maybe if we set these countries back to the stone age they will figure out that they cant support terrorists. Terrorism is never going to stop but if these countries would quit supporting terrorism then it would be alot easier to deal with. I mean really, Hezbollah runs Lebanon, they say they arent a terrorist group but their logo is a riffle, [censored] is absurd. I want them to just trash the place, show the pics, and say, look, this is what will happen to your country if you support terrorism. Iran has had it coming for 30 years, now isnt the time to back down.
I do think Bush is the worst president we have ever had and our reasons for being in Iraq werent very good, but since we are there already, lets get down to business.

[/ QUOTE ] Good idea, quit screwing around with the military. War is not good, but if we are going to fight, cut loose the dogs. The US should remember from Nam that you cannot have a "nice" war. Find a reason to keep our troops in that country or bring them home. The US could have started in The Delta, walked the troops north to North Viet Nam , and using the same support , killed every living thing and not lost 59,000 troops. Not to mention the wounded.
Somebody needs to lay the smackdown on Iran...it might as well be us. We need to go ahead and tell the Iraqi gov't they need to take care of their own country now cause we got some other business next door. We already have set up shop and if we can get a little cooperation from Saudi Arabia we could make quick work of Iran on the military front similar to what we did to Iraq.
North Korea has gotten confident again because they see how nice we have been to Iraq...they shut their mouths there for awhile when we rolled in and took over Baghdad in about 48 hours...they might get a little more shy again if we flex our muscle on Iran.
If this was what needed to be done, we should have been well on our way. This is the "planning" I thought should have been done before we entered Iraq. If the weapons went into neighboring countries, and not given up, we should have gone right along after them. This series of events is what I thought would happen, at some point in time, and should have been part of the original invasion. We went without support of the UN, how will waiting all this time change things for the better?

That is from MSN this morning- it states the problem pretty well. The US sees decades of folks giving Israel trouble, the rest of the world see a war over a couple of soldiers. And there was the comment about "the violent" Iraq Democracy, sometimes it is a good politician who gets the rest of the world to want what he wishes them to want, it makes life much easier. Too bad we haven't too many good politicians in many years.
